Monday, September 12th from 5:30 to 8:30 is this year's Skull Bowl Class taught by our very own Lucas. In this class, you will be taught how to cut the bowl back to make the skull shape and handcraft intricate details to make it your own creation!
We will throw a fresh bowl for you and be there every step of the way to create the skulls. After the workshop, come back to the studio to glaze your bowls, and we’ll fire them for you to take home.
This is our second time hosting this class, with five participants last year, we are opening it up to 15 participants for this year’s course. Come on down for this unique once a year course to create something awesome for the holidays, for your home year-round, or even a gift!
Handcrafting with clay is a unique art form that we are very familiar with at Ogres-Holm. Lucas has always been interested in drawing, molding, building, and creating since a young age. It’s his natural talent that he has taken with him into pottery making. We are inspired by his unique works, such as his Star Wars sets, unique mugs, massive vases, and of course his skull bowls.
We don’t always create “normal” looking pottery in this studio and that’s how we like it! Mugs with faces, bowls with skulls, haunted houses, and creatures of any kind, you’ll never know what you encounter at our studio.
